Range Test with .014 Amerimax Aluminum
My gunsmith fitted an unfired 03-A3, 2 groove barrel to my Turkish Mauser, Today was my 1st opportunity to fire the rifle.
I used the same opportunity while I was at the range to test Pat Marlin’s g/c tool with some of my dead soft .014 thickness aluminum and Swede Nelson’s NOE 311284.
I’m very pleased with all 3 ! !
Rifle has a nice Millet 3 X 9 X 40 , Illum reticle.
Reticle etched on the glass…….I really like the scope,bright, super clear optics. Rifle has a Bold Premium ( side safety ) trigger set to 1lb. clean, crisp .
The rifle has a detachable box mag.
The 2 groove barrel is one of my favorites for .30 cal. cast bullets.
It is the aluminum that I made the g/c’s out of that is dead soft, not my bullet alloy.
